Cascada Elysiana:

New Culture Costa Rica Camp takes place at the lush Casada Elysiana Eco Retreat Center, www.cascadaelysiana.com,  a private 28 acre jungle campground with over a dozen river pools, and a breathtaking 60 foot waterfall! Everything is close by – so you can skip off on a trail through primary forest and find your way back to the dining hall in minutes. Wildlife abounds including white faced monkeys, coatis, toucans and more. There is plenty of camping  indoor accommodation options are available.

Lodging Options:

Housing is requested through the main registration form. To request housing please complete your registration HERE.

Camping with your own equipment is included in the registration cost, and we have ample camping space available. Upgraded options are available at an additional cost.
All upgraded lodging options will be given out on a first come-first served basis, with the exception that we will do our best to accommodate those with special needs regardless of when they register. All upgraded lodging options include bedding. The prices listed below are for the entire event and are for the space, not per person.

Accommodations at our site include:

  • Twenty single bunk beds in two dorm-style spaces, with electricity and minimal storage available under the beds. – $60.00
  • Two private, “glamping” (covered deck) tents, each with one double bed and hammocks. – SOLD OUT
  • Private tents, large enough to stand up in, set up by our staff and containing a double mattress. – $275.00
  • The possibility for smaller tents upon request. – Contact Us.
  • DIY Camping – Included in registration cost

We have designated tent sites throughout the grounds, some in the main campground itself and others scattered in remote locations for those seeking a more tranquil and immersive experience. We have heated showers fed by fresh spring water w/lovely views of the forest and waterless composting toilets that provide nutrients for landscaping and fruit trees.

Food:

We’ll be eating healthy vegetarian food, with fish as an occasional option.  Our food will be sourced locally as much as possible, to take advantage of the rich food possibilities of the Costa Rican countryside.  If you have a special diet, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your needs.
