<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In just under a week together, we will explore our own potential, learn skills to help create a sustainable society, and build connections with others that last all year long! At New Culture Costa Rica Camp, we invite top-notch presenters, and live, work, learn and play together for 6 days or more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Culture Costa Rica Camp is an extended experience of building a sustainable, violence-free culture through intimacy, personal growth, transparency, radical honesty, equality, compassion, freedom of choice in interpersonal and sexual relationships, and the power of community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Culture Costa Rica Camp takes place at the lush Casada Elysiana Eco Retreat Center, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cascadaelysiana.com\">www.cascadaelysiana.com,\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0a private 28 acre jungle campground with over a dozen river pools, and a breathtaking 60 foot waterfall! Everything is close by \u2013 so you can skip off on a trail through primary forest and find your way back to the dining hall in minutes. Wildlife abounds including white faced monkeys, coatis, toucans and more. There is plenty of camping\u00a0 indoor accommodation options are available.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/2049847965243597\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to see our Facebook Event page<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h1><strong>What is Unique About New Culture Camps?<\/strong><\/h1>\n<div>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">NO GURUS AND NO DOGMA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve found that no single human technology or practice can encompass the human experience; our goal is to build a *culture* in which insights drawn from many sources are common knowledge, *available* but not imposed. We bring in many new presenters every year, and the result is that our participants have a huge pool of technologies and practices to draw from. Each person is fully \u201cat choice\u201d in any of our events, and each person is free to use the insights and practices that work best for them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4><strong>WE GATHER FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Many of us have been consciously involved with the personal growth process for years; but we have seen that most people struggle to be able to incorporate those processes into their daily lives. Our camp is 6 days long so that there is time for real issues to come up \u2014 i.e., relationships form and shift, people push their edges, folks get upset at each other. Campers support each other to work through these issues in new ways. As a result, in the words of one of our participants from last year, \u201cIdeas become practiced ways of being.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4><strong>ONLY ONE WORKSHOP AT A TIME<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The entire group (except those who choose to sit out) goes to all workshops together. These shared experiences build the context for ongoing relationships and add to the common tool-sets available to all campers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4><strong>GROUP PRACTICES SUPPORTING TRANSPARENCY AND UNDERSTANDING<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Most of these are created and facilitated by campers. We have morning whole group check-ins, evening \u201cfamily group\u201d time, an all-volunteer \u201ccompassion cadre,\u201d and self-organized work teams.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h1><strong>Results<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Powerful and long-lasting. People change their lives as a result of camp \u2013 new jobs, new communities, new projects.
